|You will implement the adoption of a service development model of commissioning where commissioners and team members are responsible for the whole |

|Key responsibilities will be as follows: |

|Work in a whole systems way to translate Council and CCG priorities and outcomes into a range of internally and externally delivered provision which is |

|integrated across ages and health and social care. |

|Leading and managing a team of Commissioning Support Officers and Project Support Officers |

|Leading on the production of operational needs assessments to support the development of commissioning strategies. |

|To lead the development of service specifications and work with procurement through the tendering process. |

|Lead the team to undertaking micro-commissioning activity in relation to individual care packages, whilst ensuring the associated functions are efficient|

|and effective. |

|Leadership for monitoring and evaluation of commissioned services with the support of procurement in the delivery of value for money services for |

|Buckinghamshire residents. |

|Identify gaps in data collection, and lead work the approach to addressing these gaps with practical and creative solutions. |

|Work with providers in overseeing performance and budget management. |

|Develop effective working relationships with all key stakeholders. |

|Ensure any safeguarding and/or quality issues identified through complaints or the review process are managed within the team effectively and escalated |

|where it was appropriate to do so. |
