POSITION DESCRIPTION

NATIONAL ACCOUNT SUPPORT – NATIONAL ACCOUNTS

Reports to: Team Leader – Sales Support

Work with the National Accounts team to deliver excellent account management services to national accounts.

Maintain an excellent understanding of key accounts and be able to respond to problems and queries in the absence of Team Leader/NAM.

• Manage customer master price files and system pricing ensuring pricing is correct and up-to-date at all times.

• Manage national account group price changes, providing analysis, preparing customer reports and implementing approved price changes.

• Liaise with suppliers to support customer rebate agreements.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual customer report requirements.

• Assist Business Analyst to investigate and prepare ad-hoc reporting in response to internal and customer requirements.

• Work with Account Managers and Business Analyst to prepare business reviews for key customers.

• Liaise with Bidfood branches to provide support to customers with additional service requirements, problem solving and responding to queries.

• Provide support and problem solving to Bidfood branches in their service to customers.

• Maintain continuous focus on improving efficiency and effectiveness of business with customer to achieve highest service level to customer with greatest profitability to Bidfood.

• Maintain system and core documentation to ensure all commitments to customers are correctly reflected in system and business records.

• Support National Account Management team to ensure a seamless response to customer needs.

• Use relevant documented internal WIPS and customer activity comms to ensure information is available as required.

• Maintain extremely high levels of accuracy with all aspects of customer and branch liaison with particular respect to stock and price management.

• Maintain excellent oversight and organization of customer stock requirements, ensuring accurate stock levels while eliminating any opportunity for obsolescence or loss.

General

• Maintain an excellent understanding of customers business and operations, and Bidfood service to customers.

• Be involved in and develop an understanding of the foodservice and hospitality market and categories.

• Maintain an understanding of best procurement practices and support National Account Managers to develop these in customers.

• Be responsive to customers and branch requirements – ensuring a high level of communication is provided at all times.

• Maintain extremely high levels of accuracy with all aspects of customer and branch liason with particular respect to price management and reporting provided.

• Maintain excellent relationships with customers, branches and suppliers.

• Produce specialist reporting as required.
