LAMbCast CDS is an open, secure digital container format embedded with a PayPal payment system. With additional support for Amazon’s S3 service, data is delivered to buyers at a speed of 1MB per second. CDS can prepare and deliver files, retail caliber burnable CD and DVD with buyer side conversion to MP3 and iPod MPEG4.

CDS is designed to allow easy preparation and deployment of your digital content. CDS eliminates the need for third party services allowing content owners to receive immediate payments and offer their content direct to customers. With innovative features like our 6 way “point of sale” split payment system, bands, partnerships, management, royalties and general agreements are now easier to manage and establish. With our optional 50% affiliate feature, content owners can maximize online distribution with buyers of your products. Why would anyone give content away for free when they can make real money!

Using a PayPal Premier or Business account, anyone can start distributing digital goods with an average preparation and deployment time of 30 minutes. With tools such as our HTML Badge creator, we make it easy for you to generate the code you need to embed your offering into your websites and MySpace pages.

CDS is compatible with Amazon’s S3 service which allows content owners access to the fastest and most reliable internet storage in the world. Content owners can establish an Amazon S3 account at no startup cost.

CDS is the first system that offers true retail caliber product delivery through the internet. Our system can accommodate simple MP3 sales to full retail quality burnable CD sales. CDS allows content owners to deliver size optimized DIVX and MPEG4 files of music videos and movies for buyer side conversion to DVD.

The CDS system is currently patent pending in all PCT worldwide territories.

CDS is comprised of 2 main components.

1) CDS authoring software – This application creates a “LAMbCase” from 5 delivery profiles:

Yellow – Standard – This will deliver files only. It is similar to a “Digital CD-ROM”

Red – CD and MP3 – This will deliver WAV files for buyer side CD burning and MP3 encoding.

Green – Video to DVD – This will deliver ISO,  MPEG2, VOB, DIVX, MPEG4 files for buyer side conversion to a burnable DVD (ISO is pass through).

Blue – Mixed Format – This will deliver mixed formats from Yellow, Red, and Green profiles.

Purple – Sponsored – This will also deliver mixed formats from Yellow, Red, and Green profiles, but has a video viewer to show advertising to buyers before they can access content.

2) CDS Burn and Extraction tool – This is the tool used by buyers to pay and receive content.

CDS has a host of additional features that we believe will define our place as the premier option for digital distribution:

Optional MP3 buyer ID tagging – We see this as a better solution to DRM and we are continuing work in this field.

Optional DVD subtitle buyer ID tagging (not with ISO discs)

6 way “point of sale” split payment system – This option will split purchases between multiple recipients using PayPal. Good for bands, partnerships and royalty arraignments.

Optional 50% affiliate partnership – A buyer can resell a purchased LAMbCase.

World Distribution Settings – If a content owner wants to sell only in the U.K., they can!

Export PDF and XLS database reports of sales and activity (similar to Soundscan)

CDS Fees

The following fees are added automatically to your sale price when you create a LAMbCase. The fee will be automatically paid after a sale using the PayPal API. There are no fees due to start selling your LAMbCase, but if you choose to use a sponsored LAMbCase, you will need to manually pay a monthly fee (sponsored LAMbCase monthly fees are not automatically paid). LAMbCase will convert these fees into the PayPal supported currencies chosen during setup. Current Royalty Rate:

$0.56 fee will be added to price.

 Added fees when using a "SPONSERED" LAMbCase:

Individual or Independent Company:

A monthly charge of $49.99 is added in addition to the royalty fee listed above.

If a sponsored LAMbCase do not have a price, then the LAMbCase royalty fee is waived.

 

Major Company (with yearly revenue over $10 million US):

A monthly charge of $1200 is added in addition to the royalty fee listed above.

If a sponsored LAMbCase do not have a price, then the LAMbCase royalty fee is waived.
