POSITION DESCRIPTIONTitle:D2D Team Manager, Australia for UNHCRReports to:F2F Campaign ManagerPositions Reporting to Same Manager:Positions Reporting to this OneD2D Frontliners, Senior Frontliners and Team Leaders (D2D)Purpose:To assist leading the D2D Team for Australia for UNHCR (Brisbane)Key responsibilities LeadershipDrive the growth of the D2D fundraising program to achieve objectives and targetsMotivate team members to achieve and exceed daily and weekly targets Lead by example working with the team to obtain pledgesCreate a fun and positive team environment so that frontliners can work to the best of their abilitiesMonitor team performances and provide support and additional coaching/training where necessary Ensure that any serious issues arising from field operations affecting program management are communicated to the Campaign ManagerConduct Monthly team meetings, skillshares and outings to help build team moraleRecruitment and Human ResourcesMaintain low turnover of good frontlinersConduct Performance Management with the office on a weekly basisActive role in training and orientation of new frontlinersEnsure all team members are briefed on the latest ERT/UNHCR developments as communicated by A4UNHCRTrain new staff on the street, provide additional ‘on the job’ training and identify any other training needs of team membersDevelop Team Leaders and create opportunities for the teamField Management Locations: Identifying and ongoing evaluation/review of locations in metro city and for travel trips Managing locations and producing the roster Management of roster and supply by Wednesday Ongoing assessment of location situation and recommendations to F2F Manager as requiredProviding maps with timesheets & logs indicating what areas have been worked dailySalesMeet the individual daily sign up targets prescribed by A4UNHCRSet daily sales targets for team members that will meet the individual sales targets for each team member and in alignment with A4UNHCR F2F monthly targetsMonitor individual team member performances and provide sales support where necessaryUndertake sales meeting at the commencement of each shiftProvide daily reports to the Sydney office on the team’s sales achievementsAdvise A4UNHCR F2F Program Assistants of availability for workSupervisionEnsure that the team’s workplace meets OH & S guidelines, including adequate work breaksMonitor the hours of work of team members as stipulated by A4UNHCRAdvocacyEnsure that all team members are professional advocates for A4UNHCR in their appearance and communications with the publicBe familiar with and ensure that all team members abide by the Code of Conduct set out in the A4UNHCR Frontliner Employee Handbook and the FIA Standard of Face to Face Fundraising PracticeRepresent A4UNHCR at external meetings or Skillshares as requested by A4UNHCRAdministrationTo collect financial information from new donors ensuring that:Pledge forms collected by team members are filled out accurately, legibly and completelyCompleted pledge forms are kept in a safe place until they are posted to A4UNHCR Pledge forms, maps and timesheets are sent by ‘Express Post” to A4UNHCR on a daily basisSign off frontliner timesheets ensuring accuracy of the informationEnsure that team members have adequate supplies of stationery: sign-up forms, welcome packs Ensure all materials are kept safely and managed with minimal costCompetencies: Knowledge of and experience in A4UNHCR’s D2D field operationsResults driven Ability to lead and manage a sales team Strong interpersonal skills Leadership skillsOther Skills & Experience:Experience and knowledge of F2F fundraising techniques preferredExperience in sales teamsPerson Specifications:Acts with integrity, honesty and credibility Open, friendly, confident and approachableReliable and flexibleCommitment to the goals of A4UNHCRHighly motivatedTeam playerRespect for and understanding of cultural diversity ................
