|Role Description |

| |

|Main Duties |

|The main duties of the role relate to the preparation and listing of used or new items on EBay, as follows: |

| |

|Checking the condition of items and undertaking any necessary testing, cleaning or preparation |

|Photographing items (normally 8 – 10 photographs per item) |

|Researching the value of items and determining a competitive price |

|Weighing and measuring items and determining the correct shipping costs |

|Composing a “Title Description” for items, incorporating key search words |

|Composing a detailed and accurate description for items |

|Completing the EBay online listing template, determining listing category and uploading photographs |

| |

|Additional Duties |

|From time to time there may be other tasks to undertake relating to Charity Lifeline’s selling functions, for example – listing on Amazon, Etsy or other online |

|selling sites. |

|Expectations |

|The post holder needs to be physically able to lift and carry a minimum of 10kg and must be prepared to move (with assistance if necessary) large items |

|The post holder needs to be prepared to work in a warehouse / office type environment |

|The post holder needs to have experience of selling and buying on EBay and be comfortable using technology such as laptops and digital cameras |

|The post holder will be expected to complete comprehensive and accurate listings of at least 25 items per week (12 working hours) |

|Additional Information |

|Annual Leave – the post holder is entitled to 68 hours paid annual leave per annum (this figure includes bank holidays if applicable) |

| |

|Sickness – Charity Lifeline offers a small occupational sick pay scheme which will provide full pay to employees for a maximum of 4 working days (24 hours) sickness |

|per holiday year. |
