According to a news release, the new 50 thousand-square-foot facility will allow Amazon to expand one and two-hour delivery of perishable foods and thousands of essentials like paper towels and electronics in select zip codes in Miramar, Pembroke Pines and Miami-Dade counties. In addition to delivering the eggs, milk and grocery essentials to doorsteps, Amazon is partnered with Doral-based El Latino to deliver specialty goods. El Latino is able to leverage Amazon’s high-end technology to offer customers in Miami one and two hour delivery on a variety of authentic Hispanic foods – right to their door. According to Amazon, El Latino imports goods from Argentina, Cuba, the Caribbean, Mexico, Central and South America. Delivery from select restaurants is also available. One-hour delivery is $7.99 and two-hour delivery is free from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday. You can log on to?
