The America First

is a 501(c)(3) non-profit created to provide charitable and

community development activities in the areas it serves. It primarily focuses on disbursing funds

and fulfilling charitable giving goals or donation requests from non-profits. The foundation strives to

improve the lives of those in the communities served by America First Credit Union.

GUIDELINES AND ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

The America First Charitable Foundation WILL consider donations & activities that meet the following conditions:

? Must be a 501(c)(3) organization ? Donations should be $2,000 or greater ? Must complete a donation application, including

detailed descriptions

You may also be asked to provide a presentation to the Foundation Board for additional details. Consideration will be given to the financial need of each request, based on the following:

? Size or amount of the donation request ? Overall impact to the community ? Availability of funds

All donation requests must benefit a non-profit organization that has obtained tax exemption under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. These organizations are charitable, civic or educational and receive the majority of their support through outside funding. Organizations requesting funding must conduct business within the America First Credit Union field of membership.

The America First Charitable Foundation will NOT consider contributions for the following:

? Political or partisan organizations ? For-profit organizations ? Religious groups or religion-based organizations ? Organizations requesting funding for personal

endeavors ? Individuals for any purpose ? Athletic or school booster associations ? Sport team sponsorships ? Personnel costs ? Programming or operating expenses ? Trips or travel expenses ? Organizations or projects outside of America First

Credit Union's field of membership

All requests will be evaluated on an individual basis by the Foundation Director. Applications will be reviewed weekly. Donations are not renewable, but may be reapplied for in subsequent years. We reserve the right to deny requests by any party, whether they meet the noted criteria or not.
