Eligibility: AAdvantage "40th Anniversary Celebration" Promotion (the "Promotion") is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States (including District of Columbia) who are at least eighteen (18) years old as well as members of the American Airlines AAdvantage? program at the time of entry. Entrants who are not AAdvantage? members may join at no cost online at loyalty/enrollment/enroll or by calling the AAdvantage? membership desk at 1-800882-8880. AAdvantage? terms and conditions apply. Except as described in the following sentence, employees of American Airlines, Inc. ("Sponsor"), Merkle Inc. ("Administrator"), and their parent and affiliate companies, suppliers as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible (exceptions apply). Employees of American Airlines, Inc. are only eligible to win Instant Win Game Prizes/Offers, as outlined in Section 8 below. The Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. Participation constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules. Sponsor's and Administrator's decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion. Winning a prize/offer is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. The Promotion consists of a sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") and an instant win game (the "Instant Win Game").

3. Timing: The Promotion begins on April 5, 2021 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") and ends on May 3, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. ET (the "Promotion Period"). For purposes of this Promotion, each "day" begins at 12:00:00 a.m. ET and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET. In addition, the Promotion consists of four (4) phases (each a "Phase") as outlined below.

4. How to Enter: During the Promotion Period, visit ("Website") and follow the links and instructions to log into your AAdvantage member account ("Account"). On your successful log in to your Account, you automatically will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes and advance to the Instant Win Game page and receive one (1) Instant Win Game play for that day. Once on the Instant Win Game page, follow the links and instructions to play the Instant Win Game. The Instant Win Game results will be instantly displayed. Potential winners of the Instant Win Game will be provided directions for validation. All potential winners are subject to verification before any prize/offer will be awarded. Administrator is responsible for the functionality of the Instant Win Game.

If you play the Instant Win Game and receive a "lose" message, as outlined above, meaning you are not a potential winner of an Instant Win Game Prize/offer, you will receive one (1) additional entry into the Sweepstakes.

Limit: One (1) time per day during the Promotion Period, on registering or logging into the Website, each entrant will automatically earn one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes and one (1) chance to play the Instant Win Game, not including the additional Instant Win Game plays outlined below. Each time an entrant loses the daily Instant Win Game or the additional Instant Win Game plays outlined below, entrant will receive one (1) additional entry into the Sweepstakes for a maximum total possible seventy-five (75) additional entries into the Sweepstakes for losing all available Instant Win Games available during the Promotion Period. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email address. Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the stated number of plays/entries by using multiple/different email addresses, Accounts, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that entrant's plays/entries and that entrant may be disqualified. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible or misdirected registrations, which will be disqualified. In the event of a dispute as to any registration or play, the authorized account holder of the email address used to register will be deemed to be the entrant or player. The "authorized account holder" is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder.

Additional Instant Win Game Plays: After you enter the Promotion, you may earn additional Instant Win Game plays as outlined below:

a) Click on a "You've got options" Link: During the Promotion Period, after registering or, if already registered, then after logging into the Website, follow the links and instructions to click on any available links in the "You've got options" section to receive one (1) additional Instant Win Game play. There will be three (3) links released for each Phase.

Limit: Each entrant may receive up to twelve (12) additional Instant Win Game plays during the Promotion Period via this method.

b) Read the Daily Fact: During the Promotion Period, after registering or, if already registered, then after logging into the Website, follow the links and instructions to click through to read an available Daily Fact to receive one (1) additional Instant Win Game play.

Limit: Each entrant may receive one (1) additional Instant Win Game play per day during the Promotion Period via this method.

c) Click on a Social Share Button: After you register for the Promotion or, if already registered, then after logging into the Website, follow the links and instructions to click on the Twitter or Instagram button and you will earn one (1) additional Instant Win Game play.

Limit: Each entrant may receive one (1) additional Instant Win Game play per Phase for a total of up to four (4) additional Instant Win Game plays during the Promotion Period via this method.

d) Complete Trivia Questionnaire: During Phase 4, after registering or, if already registered, then after logging into the Website, follow the links and instructions to answer the provided trivia questions to receive one (1) additional Instant Win Game play, regardless of how you answered the provided questions.

Limit: Each entrant may receive one (1) additional Instant Win Game play during Phase 4 via this method.

5. Sweepstakes/Instant Win Game: Administrator is an independent judging organization whose decisions as to the administration and operation of the Promotion and the selection of potential

winners are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion. Sweepstakes: Administrator will randomly select the potential Sweepstakes winners, from all eligible entries received on or around May 4, 2021. Instant Win Game: There are one million three hundred ninety-two thousand forty (1,392,040) random, computer-generated winning times ("Winning Times"), one for each prize/offer listed below, will be generated during the Promotion Period. Some Instant Win Game prize/offers will only be awarded during select Phases; see Section 8 below for complete details. If you are the first player to play the Instant Win Game at or after one of the randomly-generated times, you will be a potential instant winner of the prize/offer indicated.

6. ALL POTENTIAL WINNERS ARE SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY SPONSOR OR ADMINISTRATOR, WHOSE DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND BINDING IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE PROMOTION. AN ENTRANT IS NOT A WINNER OF ANY PRIZE/OFFER, EVEN IF THE INSTANT WIN GAME OR SWEEPSTAKES SHOULD SO INDICATE, UNLESS AND UNTIL ENTRANT'S ELIGIBILITY, AND THE POTENTIAL WINNER HAS BEEN VERIFIED AND ENTRANT HAS BEEN NOTIFIED THAT VERIFICATION IS COMPLETE. 7. Verification of Potential Winners: Receiving a prize/offer is contingent upon compliance with these Official Rules. The potential Sweepstakes winners will be notified by email. Each potential Sweepstakes prize winner and each potential "Admirals Club Membership" Instant Win Game prize winner (parent/legal guardian if winner is a minor in his/her state of residence) will be required to sign and return a Declaration of Compliance, Liability Waiver, and where not prohibited, a Publicity Release ("Declaration") and an IRS form W-9, each of which must be received by Administrator within five (5) days of the date notice or attempted notice is sent, in order to claim his/her/their prize. If a potential winner of any prize/offer cannot be contacted or fails to sign and return the Declaration or provide any other requested information within the required time period (if applicable), or prize/offer is returned as undeliverable, potential winner forfeits the prize/offer.
