Acute Effect of Exogenous Insulin on Markers of Bone Metabolism

This is a pilot, investigator initiated T1D Exchange grant to evaluate the acute effect of hyperinsulinemia on bone turnover markers from the blood samples collected during hyperinsulinemic euglycemic clamp of Beta Cell Function study.

Six-month, Randomized, Open-label, Parallel-group Comparison of SAR341402 to NovoLog/ NovoRapid in Adults patients with Diabetes Mellitus Also using Insulin Glargine, with a 6-month Safety Extension Period.

Goal is this clinical trial is compare investigational short acting insulin with standard Novolog, short acting insulin in patients with type 1 diabetes.
