MISSION STATEMENT

American Career College is dedicated to the belief that all students have the right to succeed to their full potential. To meet this challenge in postsecondary education, American Career College's mission is to provide adult learners with the skills and technical knowledge needed for initial employment in entry-level positions.

American Career College's goals include, but are not limited to, providing quality educational programs that can be completed in a timely fashion and are facilitated by an outstanding faculty and staff. The programs offered at American Career College are designed to meet the needs of all communities of interest. Continual program reviews, through the assistance of advisory committees, helps to ensure that all programs are up-to-date and relevant to employers' needs.

Congratulations, American Career College 2021 graduates!

Dear Class of 2021, The American Career College family and I congratulate you on your graduation! This educational milestone is a testament of your commitment to forging ahead in your careers. For more than 40 years, our college has educated generations of healthcare professionals, and the Class of 2021 has proven perseverance and tenacity by continuing their studies through unforeseen difficulties. You should be immensely proud of your achievement. You are entering a world that needs you. It needs your passion, your willingness to help, and your ability to tackle any challenges that arise. You are now ready to play a crucial role in our society as an essential health care worker. You have completed a curriculum of rigorous training and skill development that has prepared you to help others who need you now more than ever. Although we are unable to celebrate together this year for the safety of our ACC graduates and community, I want you to know that we fully recognize your incredible accomplishments. You put in the work while juggling many other commitments and completed your program. I am personally inspired by your dedication and strength. I would like to share with you a simple but powerful quote by our graduation keynote speaker DeVon Franklin: "Anything you pray for; you need to prepare for." Dreaming big is important for a successful career, but it is only the first step. To turn those dreams into reality, to live up to everything you know you can be, you must prepare. Pursuing your healthcare education has been a big step in that preparation. As you continue to advance as a healthcare professional, I encourage you to dream big, prepare, and remember the lessons you learned while at ACC. Congratulations again on your success! He serves as president and CEO of Franklin Entertainment, a dynamic multimedia entertainment company with a first-look film deal at Paramount Pictures. DeVon is committed to uplifting global communities through entertainment and is followed by millions around the world for inspiring content, encouragement, and advice. Variety Magazine named him one of the "Top 10 Producers to Watch," Ebony Magazine has distinguished him as one of the "Top 100 Influential African-Americans in America," and Oprah has called him "a different kind of spiritual teacher for our times." His inspirational films have grossed over $175 million at the box office with most recent hits including "Breakthrough" starring Chrissy Metz (Disney/ Fox), "The Star" (Sony Pictures), and "Miracles from Heaven" (Sony Pictures).
