AMERICAN EXPRESS SUPPORT OF 92nd PGA CHAMPIONSHIP

SHOWCASED AT PGA LEARNING CENTER, CARDMEMBER CLUB

Note: The PGA Learning Center presented by American Express is open Aug. 9-15,

at PGA Town Center at Whistling Straits during regular gate hours (see chart below)

KOHLER, Wis. – Spectators at the 92nd PGA Championship at Whistling Straits will find that they have more than ample opportunity to both sharpen their game and enjoy one of the rarest experiences in professional sports – to get personalized instruction from some of the game’s foremost players and teachers.

The PGA Learning Center presented by American Express is an air-conditioned 8,000-square feet facility positioned within the PGA Town Center near the Main Spectator Entrance. The facility features golf simulators, hitting bays, structured and free form putting greens, golf swing video analysis and video screens for live tournament feeds. Daily instructional clinics include special appearances by legendary Billy Casper, the 2010 PGA Distinguished Service Award recipient; and 2009 PGA Teacher of the Year Mike Bender. They will be joined by six Wisconsin PGA Professionals providing clinics throughout Championship week (see enclosed appearance schedule).

American Express also is making an impact this year with the PGA Community Relations Program, which touches Wisconsin-based charities ranging from youth and family services to medical research. American Express will donate 1 percent on every purchase made with any American Express® Card in the PGA Golf Shop during the PGA Championship. The donations go to the PGA Foundation, which will distribute funds to the participating charities.

The golf simulators at the PGA Learning Center presented by American Express feature daily “closest-to-the-hole” competitions on a par-3 from Whistling Straits and Atlanta Athletic Club, site of the 2011 PGA Championship. Winners of the daily contest will receive a PGA Championship commemorative golf bag from The PGA of America, as well as certificates for 25,000 Delta SkyMiles – enough to cover a round-trip domestic ticket – courtesy of the Delta SkyMiles® Credit Card from American Express.

CourseCast Radio units will be distributed at the PGA Learning Center to Cardmembers, and also are available at two on-course distribution tents. Non-Cardmembers will have the opportunity to pick up radios between 10 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. at the PGA Learning Center.
