Prerequisites:
• Be able to perform high-quality CPR & use an AED according to the 2005 AHA Guidelines.
• Understand the 10 Core Cases and the associated ACLS Algorithms in the ACLS Provider Manual.
• Complete the ACLS Self-Assessment Tests on ACLS ECGs and Pharmacology (on the ACLS Student CD).
Please note: ACLS courses now require all students pass a 1-rescuer CPR and AED skills test. To deliver training programs efficiently to our staff, each ACLS class at FAHC will begin with a BLS for Healthcare Provider Renewal class. The current BLS for Healthcare Provider Student Practice sheets will be emailed to all registered students for review.
ACLS Provider Course Fee:
▪ Non-employee: $230 includes ACLS Provider Manual.
▪ FAHC employee: $140, includes ACLS Provider Manual. .
ACLS Renewal Course Fee:
▪ Non-employee: $120, books not included.
▪ FAHC employee: $70, books not included.
Book purchasing information
▪ Books can be purchased separately for Renewal class. The required student text is the ACLS Provider Manual. Cost is $29.
▪ The optional Handbook for Emergency Cardiovascular Care pocket guide cost is $15.

Course fee is waived for FAHC Code 99 team members requiring ACLS
