American Heart Association BLS Provider Skills Validation Sessions

2019 Schedule

General Information: The Basic Life Support Provider eLearning course is good for initial and renewing certifications. Legacy provides skills validation sessions for Legacy employees and the community. In order to attend a skills validation session, you must first complete the AHA online course.

• Bring a copy of the BLS Provider online course completion certificate to the skills validation session.

• Skill sessions are approximately 45 minutes in length.

Overview: Healthcare professionals will learn the skills of CPR for all ages including ventilation with barrier devices and bag-mask devices, use of an automated external defibrillator, and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction. Class taught according to current American Heart Association Guidelines.

Cost: No cost for Legacy Employees, $35.00 for Non-Legacy participants

**The skills validation sessions are for those participants who have completed Part 1 of the AHA BLS Provider Online Course and need a skills validation session to complete the certification process.
