The Lady Titans reached the Sweet 16 of the FHSAA State Playoffs.In 2018-19, Hively helped guide the Lady Titans to a 24-5 record and its 13th FHSAA postseason appearance, including a County record 15th straight appearance to the BCAA Big 8 Championships. Seniors Gabrielle “Gigi” Gonzalez signed with Stony Brook University and Kayla Massop signed with Florida A&M University. The Lady Titans reached the Elite 8. ????? In 2017-18, Hively helped lead the Lady Titans to a 30-2 record which was a program best and most wins in school basketball history. This was a banner year for the Lady Titans as they won the Holiday of Palm Beaches Classic Tournament, BCAA Big 8 County Championships, District and Regional Champions and went on to finish runner up to nationally ranked Winter Haven in the Class 8A State Finals. The season was highlighted by wins over Miami Country Day, Dillard, American Heritage, and St Thomas as well two teams from out of state. Seniors Erin Gutierrez (Broward County Player of the Year) signed with Tulane University and Samaria August signed with St. Thomas University. ?????Your Lady Titans basketball have traveled to Chicago, IL, Atlanta GA, Savannah GA, Charleston, SC, Orlando, FL, Ft. Myers, FL, etc. to compete in nationally competitive showcases and events. ???? Four former players have also come back to coach with the Lady Titans in Tonya Aaron (2014-2016), Clarissa “CJ” Coddington (2016-2019), Trellanie English -Lurry (2019-present), and Khadejra Young (2019-present). Playing CareerHively was a three-year Varsity letterman and standout in basketball and baseball at Huntington High School in?Huntington, WV earning All County selections in both sports. He attended West Virginia University on a baseball scholarship.Hively played four seasons for the Mountaineers from 1992-96. As a sophomore he was a member of the (40-21) 1994 Atlantic 10 Championship team. He also threw the 1st ever nine inning no – hitter in the schools 103 history that year for which he was named Mizuno National Baseball Player of the Week. The 1994 team also earned a berth to the NCAA Regionals in Coral Gables, FL. In 1996, Hively was a member of the (33-25) Big East Championship team. This was the Mountaineers inaugural season in the Big East. He was a starting pitcher that helped lead the Mountaineers back to the NCAA tournament where they earned another berth to the NCAA Regionals in Clemson, SC. Hively was born in Huntington, WV on Jan. 24, 1974. ????? ................
