Programmes Offered MBA (Master in Business Administration)

The most sort after post graduate degree in the recent times. The course is designed to develop managers who are equipped to meet the challenges of the new-age industry 4.0. The curriculum is a perfect combination of academic and practical knowledge aimed at developing the students of diverse backgrounds into leaders that are data driven. The course designed to mould the students into dynamic leaders with astute decision making capabilities and excellent communication skills. The programme offers dual specialization. Apart from the foundation courses and core courses, the electives include Human Resource Management, Financial Management, Marketing and Sales Management, International Business Management, Operations Management, Retail Management and Information Technology Management.

BBA (Bachelor in Business Administration)

This study programme is an excellent means to develop intellectual and managerial acumen by offering a combination of general and business education. The threeyear degree programme provides fundamental education in business and management principles. The BBA's curriculum consists of Foundation Courses, Core Courses and Elective Courses (Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, IT and Law).

B.A. (H)-Economics

Economics is considered as ever green subject due to its high utility and huge demand in job markets. B.A. (H)-Economics is a three-year Undergraduate course taken up by students willing to make career in the field of Economics. It is a semester based course which provides in-depth and practical knowledge in the field of Economics to create well trained economists. The B.A. (H)-Economics curriculum entails Foundation Courses, Core Courses and Value Added Courses.

(H) is an undergraduate degree designed to inculcate business acumen in students.Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) is one of the most popular undergraduate degree programmes among Commerce stream students. Candidates, who wish to pursue higher studies and career in accounting and commerce or banking, finance and insurance, take up BCom (H) course at UG level. BCom (H) is the best course option for career and jobs in management, teaching, advertising, journalism, mass communication, law, design, public sector, etc.

Ph.D in Management

PhD in management is the highest academic degree awarded in the study of management science. At Amity Ph.D programme is designed for those seeking academic research and teaching careers as faculty or professors in the study of management at leading universities/ business schools worldwide.

Admissions to Ph.D. programs at Amity University campuses are conducted twice a year, for January and July sessions. A Ph.D. program is offered in two modes- Full time and Part time and not in a distance learning mode. Hence, coursework, participation in various interactions, submission of progress reports through presentations etc. on regular basis is mandatory during the program. A Full-time Ph.D. scholar shall mean a candidate devoting full time for completing the requirements of the program and a part- time Ph.D. scholar shall mean a candidate who is devoting a part of his time towards the pursuit of the program while discharging his official / employment obligations.

Hence, Part time Candidates are expected to ensure they get adequate organisational help and a relevant setup at their workplace that also enables them to engage in research work. Ph.D. full time is for minimum 3 years and Ph.D. part time for minimum 4 ? years. Maximum duration in case of both the modes is 6 years. Amity encourages interdisciplinary research and exchange of ideas and knowledge in various related fields. Consequently, it allows scholars to appoint a Co-Guide from outside Amity University as per university rules. The main Guide for the scholar during the Ph.D. program will be from Amity University, appointed as per the research topic and Guide availability. Ph.D full time enthusiasts have the scope to work as research fellows in the various ongoing prestigious research projects in the university.
