REACTIVITY DATA

Stability: Stable Hazardous Decomposition Products: Toxic vapors of Chlorine gas, Hydrogen gas.

Conditions to Avoid: Contact with light metals may generate hydrogen gas. Do not use on marble or other soft, mineral type surfaces. Prolonged contact with painted surfaces or Formica may discolor surface -- test before using.

Incompatibility: ammonia, bleach; do not mix with other chemicals. Hazardous Polymerization: Will not occur.

HAZARD DATA

Signs & Symptoms of Exposure: Direct contact of product with eyes may cause chemical burns. Contact with skin may cause severe irritation & burning. Inhalation of vapor may irritate respiratory tract & mucous membranes.

Emergency & First Aid Procedures:

1. Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. Seek medical attention if symptoms persist.

2. Eyes: Hold eye open & flush with water for 15-20 minutes. Get immediate medical attention.

3. Skin: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes.

4. Ingestion: Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have person sip water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by the poison control center/doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

SPECIAL PROTECTION INFORMATION

Respiratory Protection: None required if good ventilation is maintained.

Protective Gloves: Where skin contact is possible, wear rubber or other impervious gloves.

Eye Protection: Where eye contact may occur, wear chemical splash goggles and/or face shield.

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS & SPILL/LEAK PROCEDURES

Handling & Storage: Keep container closed when not in use. Use with toilet bowl applicator or foaming applicator. Use only according to label directions. Do not mix with other chemicals.

Release or Spill: Ventilate area to dissipate fumes. Contain spill & collect in approved container. Rinse with dilute bicarbonate solution to neutralize residue.

Waste Disposal: Waste or unused material may be rendered non-hazardous by neutralization with dilute alkaline solution. Caution- Never add concentrated alkali to this product. Triple rinse container, wrap & discard in trash. Dispose of this material in accordance with federal, state & local regulations.
