Box 12688, Oakland, California, 94604-2688) for SUBSTATIONS CNC, ANA, WCR, CER, LSR, LRT, LEC34.5KV TRANSFORMERS UPGRADE AND REPLACEMENT PROJECT, CONTRACT NO. 15EI-160.?Such Bids will be opened publicly and announced at the said hour and date in the 23rd Floor Conference Room No. 2382T, Kaiser Center Building, 300 Lakeside Drive, Oakland, California. Bids will thereafter be accepted or rejected by the District. The Bidders are responsible to ensure their Bids are received at the time and location specified.The Work includes: The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, components, hardware, equipment, Incidentals and services necessary to perform the Work, more particularly described in the Contract Specifications, Section 01 11 00, Summary of Work. The estimated value of this Contract is $ 3,500,000 to $ 4,000,000 .At the time of Contract Award, the Bidder must have a valid California State Contractor's license, classification A, B, or C-10, and be in good standing with the Contractors’ State License Board.DBE Participation: No Goal. Although there is no DBE Participation Goal for this Contract, Bidders are encouraged to take all steps necessary to provide an equal opportunity for DBEs to participate. A pre-Bid meeting and site tour will be held on Friday, February 28, 2014. The pre-Bid meeting and site tour will convene at 10:00 AM at the District's Offices, at 300 Lakeside Drive, Oakland, CA 94612, Conference Room 1700. Immediately following the pre-bid meeting, there will be a site tour visit to one, possibly two locations for this project. The site tour, however, is not mandatory.Bid Documents may be examined at certain public and private plan rooms. Bid Documents may also be examined free of charge at the District’s Offices on or after February 21, 2014 in the Plan Room on the 17th Floor of 300 Lakeside Drive, Oakland, CA 94612.
