Target Audience

This activity is designed for practitioners who are involved in the diagnosis, treatment, and care for coronary patients.

Learning Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

• Identify best practices in state-of-the-art surgical coronary revascularization, on- and off-pump.

• Discuss evidence base, alternative strategies, and surgical techniques for arterial grafting in CABG, including hands-on teaching of BITA harvesting, atraumatic endoscopic radial artery and SVG conduit harvesting and avoidance of mediastinitis.

• Discuss contemporary evidence base for blood conservation, management of ischemic MR, use of TMR, role and techniques for minimally invasive and hybrid surgical coronary revascularization.
