As in ancient Egypt, the plagues will come full force again in our day. Exodus 12:12: “Upon all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment. I am Yahuweh”. By each the plague the ancient gods of Egypt were discredited. In the coming tribulation, the gods of mankind will be shown to be nothingness. Each plague brings its series of circumstances—economic disaster, famine, pestilence

and death—the “four horsemen of the Apocalypse” ride again. War is a big factor in the tribulation that brings the plagues of nuclear fall-out, economic disaster, famine, disease, and releases the

“beasts of the earth”, from the microscopic, to insects, to meat-eating animals, rodents, and reptiles.

Each plague dealt with the judgment on one of the Egyptian’s gods, which are still being worshipped today in different forms.

The tribulation according to Scripture is 3 ½ years (42 months) long. Yahushua tells us that unless the days were not shortened, “No flesh would be saved”. Many Scriptures tell us that the earth will be burned up, and most of its life destroyed. (Refer to: “All Flesh” and “No Flesh Saved But a Remnant” for Scripture references)

Exodus 9:26: “Where the children of Israel were, there was no hail”. Exodus 8:22: “And I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end that you may know that I am Yahuweh, and I will put a division between my people and your people”--Elohim’s words to Pharaoh. It is important to be one of Yahuweh’s people!

But, remember Psalm 91:1 must be obeyed, before the rest of the promises can take affect. We can only escape these plagues if we are set-apart unto Yahuweh. He has warned us to get out of what He is about to destroy: Revelation 18:4: “Come out of her My people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues.” In I Corinthians 6:14-7:1, our Father tells us to come out of all defilement of the world’s systems, which includes man’s religious systems, and “touch not the unclean thing, and I will receive you”. Unless we are in His spiritual land of Goshen, in His good favor, then we will also receive of these plagues. Carefully read Ezekiel 14:12-23—we can only save ourselves by our own righteousness (obedience to Yahuweh).

These plagues are part of Yahuweh’s ten-part pattern of judgment, setting off a chain reaction which envelopes all plagues of all sorts. (Refer to: “Yahuweh’s Pattern of Judgment”.) There is a “cause and effect” network of plagues, in which they are all united.

Romans 13:11-12 “Our salvation draws near!” Be prepared!!

GODS OF EGYPT DISCREDITED BY THE PLAGUES

Exodus 12:12: “Against all the gods of Egypt I will execute Judgment! I am Yahuweh!”

Once again He speaks these words into the earth, putting on notice the gods of Egypt worshipped by the elite of the whole world system, that their time is short, and their eternal judgment is near.

May 25, 2010 – The Great Pyramid of Egypt

1. The water turned to blood and the fish dying: The god Hapi was the Nile God, and Hatmehyt’s symbol was the fish … the wicked are made to drink blood – a defilement – Revelation 16:6

2. Frogs cover the land: Heqt or Heka – the goddess of fertility and pro-creation powers, pictured with woman’s body with a frog head—was very important to the Egyptians. The frogs were out of control.

3. Stinging, fastening gnats: Geb god of earth and vegetation—the gnats came out of the dust of the earth. The gnats covered the earth, man and beast, and could not contained.

4. Flies: Insects in general that bite and bring disease – Kepera or Khepfi was the beetle god, was also the god of insects in general. The flies represented resurrection. Human headed flies have been incorporated into jewelry, as has the beetle image. The bird fly was supposed to take man to heaven. The gray fly brought disease and death.

5. Murraine: Hathor, pictured as a cow, and Menuis (Apis) pictured as the bull – Egyptians worshipped the ram, ox and bull. Hathor was considered the goddess of love – a very prominent Egyptian goddess. They were discredited because they could not protect the livesstock

6. Boils: Imhotep, god of healing and Thoth god of medicine and wisdom were discredited, for they could not heal the boils

7. Hail mixed with fire (lightening): Nut was the sky goddess, but this plague was beyond her control. Sepes, Nut and Hathor were said to live in trees—trees, crops and all green things in the fields, as well as cattle and people, were destroyed. Mother earth herself was discredited. Reshpu and Ketesh controlled nature, except night, and were discredited.

Seth was the protector of crops. The flax was destroyed, from which the

priests clothes were made, and the mummies bound

8. Locusts: Senchen was the locust god. The sun was covered by the locusts, so the eye of Horus and Amen-Ra were discredited also, as well as Isis who was said to be a protector against locust invasion

9. Complete darkness: Amen-Ra, the supreme sun god, was discredited

10. Death of the first born: Pharaoh was discredited as being a god—embodiment of Amen-Ra
