Dear Parents and Carers,

Summer term is an exciting time in Year 5, with our trip to Gilwell Park and the Year 5 Review, as well as a trip to the local mosque. Our learning project

this term is all about Asia, a vast continent inhabited by a wide range of different peoples. We will develop our geography skills, reading maps and atlases to

understand the main features of the continent. We will then focus on India in more detail, before going on to learn about some of the other Asian countries,

partly led by the children’s interests.

Best wishes,

Ms Owen and Miss Biggs
