The Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) has finalized the calculations for reimbursement of summer school costs based on the 2021 Summer School Final Cost Reports submitted by eligible school corporations and charter schools. More than 300 school corporations and charter schools participated in the summer school program in 2021. Due to an increase in summer school across the state, those submitted costs exceed the state appropriation for reimbursement. Therefore, this year all schools will receive a reimbursement of approximately 60%. Attached to this memo is a list of reimbursement distribution amounts, arranged alphabetically by school corporation and charter school.
