Problem Scenario: You have been invited to present your views and recommendations concerning possible changes in the school lunch program to the school board. You will create posters, brochures, power points, and written proposals. You must be prepared to present your arguments by (date) to the District Nutrition Director (name).

Direct Instruction for the whole class:

• Guest lectures from Nutrition Director

• State nutrition requirements

• Read nutrition trade journals

• Read Internet websites

• Research other school lunch programs

• Oral presentation techniques/software

• Letter writing skills (business format)
