Grants Received by GRCCThe Michigan Department of State awarded $120,000 in grant support for the Michigan Rider Education Program. The program provides motorcycle safety training for new riders. The Wege Foundation awarded a grant of $307,156 to support the Assisting Latino Students to Achieve and Succeed (A.L.A.S) initiative that is aimed at fostering self-development and academic excellence among Latino students. Anticipated outcomes include increased persistence and completion among program participants. The W.K. Kellogg Foundation awarded $1,001,881 for the Foundations to the Future project.
