City of Anderson Recreation COVID ProtocolsAdditional staff in areas of the building to help keep the traffic flow, stagnation & transition in between games as smooth as possibleAt the end of the game teams are allowed 5 minutes to conduct a team meeting, the time will be placed on the game clock when it expires & the horn sounds they must exit the building right away, these meetings must take place at the free throw half-circle areas, on their respect sides of the courtOnly Head Coaches will be allowed in before their game, all participants & spectators for the next game must sit in their vehicles until the head coach sends them an all clear text to enter the building, once teams have entered, they will be given up to 10 minutes to warm-up.Concessions will be sold, no standing or sitting to eat will be allowed in the common areas, eating & drinking will be allowed in the gym, this should be the only time people remove their mask, once done, mask must immediately put back onDue to limited seating and social distancing requirement spectators will be limited to:One adult per participating player at practices (not including siblings under 18)Three adults per participating player at games (not including siblings under 18) Coaches and Staff required to wear a mask at all times. Spectators are required to wear a mask at all times. Players are required to wear a mask before and after games/practicesPlayers and Coaches must hand sanitize before and after all games/practicesBasketballs and other equipment should be cleaned between games/practices or another ball used if needed.Game management, coaches and players should observe social distancing of 3 to 6 feet.Suspend post game protocol of shaking hands. Sportsmanship is an important component of the game.Suggestion would be to line up teams on the foul line and wave.Please exit the gym/facility immediately after practice is complete. No lingering or socializing unless it is during the 5-minute team meeting.Players who have been quarantined from school or any other organization must notify the recreation director to determine a return to play date.Guardians of players who have been quarantined from the recreation department must notify their schools themselves to determine proper next steps. The recreation departments are not responsible for notifying the schools and cannot make the final decision on if you will be allowed to attend.Quarantined period may last between 10 to 14 days. Player may return after stated time as long as they are showing on symptoms and have been cold related medication free for 24 hours. Subject to change per the CDC. ................
