Starting Tuesday, Sept 3, 2013 Anderson Public Library will be offering a FREE homework assistance program to those students who need a bit of help with their studies. This program is available to all students 1st through 8th grade in The Great Hall.

Monday – Thursday 3:00pm-5:00pm

Whether your child needs help just staying on task, understanding fractions, memorizing multiplication tables or even reading, this is a wonderful program that can really make a difference.

Students are responsible for bringing all required homework materials. A child who frequently is without homework or neglects to bring it three times in a row will automatically be dropped from the program. Students do not have to attend every day and may be picked up before the day’s session ends.

Special arrangements must be made by the parents/guardians with their student’s school to arrange being dropped off by the bus in front of the library. Parents are responsible for picking up their children by 5:00. Excellent behavior and good attitudes are expected or the child will be asked to leave the program for the year. No student under the age of 11 may be on their own in the library.

The program will follow the public school district’s schedule for all holidays and weather/snow days.
