Reception & Awards ~ Saturday, October 10, 3-5pm

~ PROSPECTUS ~

Delivery of submissions for consideration:

Monday, 10/5, noon-7pm or Tuesday, 10/6, noon-7pm.

Eligibility: PAC invites artists 18 and over to submit up to TWO pieces of ORIGINAL fine art (includes photography) for consideration. Work must have been completed within the past three years, not previously exhibited at the Putnam Arts Council, nor created in a class. Artists are responsible for any copyright infringement.

Work in any of the following media: oil and acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, pastel, graphics, sculpture, and photography/digital. All work must be original (no giclee’ prints).

Specifications: All work must be finished and completely dried. 2D work: cannot exceed a maximum measurement of 48” and must be suitably framed, wired and ready to hang. Triptychs should keep within the size parameter requirement. 3-D work: must be manageable by one person.

AWARDS: Cash awards for Best in Show, Second and Third Place selected at the discretion of the juror. Honorable mentions may be awarded, at the discretion of the juror. Awards will be announced at the opening reception on Saturday, October 10 at 4pm.

Juror: Anne Johann, a professional artist who has

exhibited her work in galleries, art festivals and

national juried exhibitions. Johann received her

BFA from Pratt Institute and studied at the National Academy of Design School of Fine Arts. Anne is a member of the Salmagundi Club, Who’s Who of American Women and Who’s Who in America.

Hand Delivery of Artwork: to 521 Kennicut Hill Rd., Mahopac- Monday, 10/5, noon-7pm or Tuesday, 10/6, noon-7pm.

Submission fees (non-refundable): Members $25.00 for 1 or 2 entries. Non-members $30 for 1 or 2 entries. Artists may join at drop off or online @ Please note that payment does NOT guarantee acceptance by the Juror and is non-refundable.

Submission Forms: Will be provided at time of drop off.

Identify your work: with a label that includes: your name, the work’s title, medium and price. If the work is not for sale, please include an NFS designation along with a value on your label.

Sales: The Putnam Arts Council will retain 35% on all sales.

Pick – up at completion of exhibit:

Tuesday 10/27, Wednesday, 10/28 or Friday, 10/29 from 11am -4pm or by appointment.

Sundays at the Center offering free and affordable workshops on Sunday afternoons throughout October.

Saturday, Oct. 4: Art & Craft Materials and Supplies Tag Sale -

De-Stash for $$$. An opportunity to sell and/or trade new or gently used arts/crafts materials or supplies. Limited space available, affordable fees to participate. Free admission & doors open to the public from 10-4pm.

November 7 – Music from the Movies -

A live musical revue to BENEFIT programs @ PAC Performed by the Voices of Hope @ Belle Levine Art Center 7:30pm
