The Director of Team Managers and the Webmaster are also in this, so they can jump in if anyone needs help. Teams OverviewAll of your players and Coaches have been added to your team. You can access your Team page by going to , then Texas Jr. Stars, and select your team. To Add Additional Players and CoachesThis must be done by the Webmaster so that it connects properly with their season registration or coach registration, and the AMHA Registrar must be involved as well for USA Hockey purposesGoalies TeamEach of the Goalies on your team have been also added to a separate Goalies team. This is used to schedule Goalie specific practices so it shows up on their SportsEngine app. To Update Player or Coach Details on the RosterYou can edit your roster to include things such as each player’s jersey number, a Coach’s position (i.e. Head Coach, Assistant Coach, etc). Login to Go to your Team PageSwitch to Edit ModeClick on the Roster tabClick the Player’s nameClick “Edit Player Details”Make the changes and click “Save Player”You can also do the same steps above, but select “Manage Team” from your team’s home pageTeam CommunicationsYou can communicate with your team using the following methods: SportsEngine app for quick chats. You can also use this same quick chat feature by Selecting “Manage Team” from your Team’s home page. It will still come across on everyone’s app, but you can send the message from your PC instead of from your app. From the Team page for sending emails to the teamEmailing from the Team pageLogin to Go to your Team PageSwitch to Edit ModeFrom the yellow bar, select Admin -> GroupsMessages (right above First Name)Send Message to GroupSelect All, or select individual peopleEditor: For a quick non-formatted email you can leave the Editor as Plain TextFor a formatted email where you can make it “prettier”, use Rich TextTo use a template, set Editor to Page Layout. If you go with this option, you can use the template called “Email – Team/Basic/Parent” (for weekly team newsletters see below)To edit the content click the Gear next to the Text Block header and select Edit. Tips using the text block: You can add hyperlinks to webpages. Hyperlink button is below BOLD, looks like a paperclip. The features work just like a word doc. Make your changes, and click Preview and Send Message. You will be able to preview before sending. Weekly Team Newsletters You can compose your content in a word doc throughout the week. Then when it’s time to compose the weekly newsletter you can copy/paste. To edit the calendar: Screen shot your team calendar for the weekly schedule:MAC: Command + Shift + 4PC: Select Windows icon at bottom of screen -> Type “SNIP” -> New -> Rectangle toolSave your screenshot as an image (.jpg or .png).Click the Gear on the right side of the photo image in the template and select Edit. Update the image to the new one. Make sure to select YES for “Show Original Image”You’re able to Preview before sending.Calendar EventsWebmaster will upload all of your season practices at the beginning of the season. From there it is your responsibility to update the calendar with any changes. Once your team’s games have been scheduled you will also need to enter those, or you can ask the Webmaster to upload them using an import utility. Email the Webmaster for more details: webmaster@. To create a game: Go to a Team Page on your site that you would like to add games to and turn on Edit Mode. Choose the Game Schedule tab.Under the Game Schedule tab, click on the option to Add Game. Input the necessary and mandatory information, then click Create Game.To create a new event: Login to Go to your Team Page, on the Home tab. Make sure you’re in Edit Mode on the right hand side. Click View All under the Calendar.Click Add New EventClick the Show Tag Menu button, and make sure your team is tagged and no other teams. Click Hide Tag Menu. Enter the event name, date/time, location, location details, and description. Click Create this EventTo edit an existing event: Login to Go to your Team Page, on the Home tab. Make sure you’re in Edit Mode on the right hand side. Click View All under the Calendar.Click the event you want to edit. Click the gear on the top right side and select Edit.Make your changes and click Save Changes.Adding Guardians to a Player’s ProfileThis must be done from the Mobile app, it cannot be done from the website on a PCOn the SportsEngine mobile app tap TeamsSelect the "Team" you wish to manage.Tap Roster.If applicable, filter by season.Ensure the "Players" tab is selected.Locate and tap on the "Player" you wish to manage.In the bottom right-hand corner of the screen click the blue pencil icon.In the bottom right-hand corner, tap the Add Guardian+.Enter the "Email Address" of the new guardian.Once complete, tap the Checkmark (Android) or Save (iOS).This action will invite the user to accept and confirm the email address entered. Once confirmed, full Guardian Privileges will be granted. ................
