Here you walk about 500 m on the road for Plan Andrea , then you take another road on the right that leads to the summit of Camposauro (left is an open space with benches and a dirt road ) . Continuing right slightly downhill passing a stone quarry and , after about 500 m , you reach the plateau Camposauro .

Route The route starts climbing the few steps that lead to the fountain Acquarulo ; from here continue on the right for a path between the terraces of olive groves leading in about 10 minutes at a fraction Leschito . It runs through the village and you will reach a clearing with a wide ramp to the Mount . The ramp leads to a deposit aqueduct but thirty feet first , from an opening in the wall on the left , the trail begins , a little ' steep but with rudimentary stone steps that facilitate the climb in a zig zag . After the first stretch that runs through a dense thicket not , you get into a path that leads , going to the left , to the Serre , behind the Mount St. Michael .

It continues almost on a slight slope to the right , along the rocky cliffs at times spectacular until you reach the beginning of a safety net for boulders , at an outlet of the aqueduct in concrete . From here continue along the safety net until you reach the main trail that goes from the fraction Barassano hermitage of St. Michael , suggested for the return. Take the mule path about 100 meters downstream of the church of S. Cosimo ; the first part is quite steep and alternate stone steps limestone rock outcrops , through a mixed forest with oak and hornbeam . Next, you enter a chestnut and the trail becomes dirt . Passed the last part in the chestnut , slightly downhill , you enter on a wide dirt road that turns right and goes half-height of the dry slope called " Coste Tocco " in the direction of a farmhouse , where we arrive in a few minutes ; from here you reach a road with a cobbled stone that rises toward the source Poveromo .
