St. Francis of Assisi Kindergarten Summer Packet

Dear Kindergarten Parents,Welcome to the St. Francis of Assisi Kindergarten. Your child is beginning an incredible educational journey and we are committed to engaging your child in a challenging learning experience.A very important key to St. Francis’ successful educational program is parental involvement. We have designed a summer packet of fun activities to enhance Kindergarten readiness skills and challenge the student. These activities have been aligned with the Virginia Performance Standards for Kindergarten. All packet assignments must be completed by the student and assembled and bound in a pocket folder. Attached you will find a rubric which will explain the grading criteria for this packet.PLEASE SEND THE COMPLETED SUMMER PACKET IN TO CLASS BY THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL.Happy Learning! The St. Francis of Assisi Kindergarten TeamMrs. Chien and Mrs. McWhorterSt. Francis of Assisi Kindergarten Summer PacketFinish all activities and bring completed packet in a pocket folder (manila envelope, anything that will keep items together) to school to be turned in no later than the first day of school.
