➢ Responsibilities include entering various data on leased aircraft into the company’s proprietary Oracle database.

➢ Assemble notebooks of paperwork involved with each aircraft.

JOB HUNTING AND FURTHER TRAINING 05/2001 – Present

➢ While between jobs and job hunting, I have been furthering my education with reading and studying basic testing methodology and management skills.

➢ I have also been working on learning basic hardware skills on my computers at home. Partly out of curiosity and partly out of necessity. I have installed larger hard drives multiple times. Installed CD-Rom drives and burners. Installed cards (video, sound, network, etc) multiple times. I have also installed a motherboard and processor and built a machine from scratch. (Had a motherboard fry on me, so bought a new computer and then purchased a new motherboard and processor to rebuild the old system).

➢ Started as the tester for the company’s two home pages ( and ). Both sites were tested as regular web sites as well as voice enabled sites. These require two different methods of testing. Trained my replacement when I moved on to other testing.

➢ Moved on to being the lead tester of the company’s web products. These included Conversay Web and Voice Surfer (products that allow you to surf the web using your voice), Conversay CDK (this is a product that allows you to develop your web site to be voice enabled). I also was involved with the Pocket Conversay test team (this is a product that is installed onto hand held PC’s to allow the unit to be operated by voice).

➢ Created Test Plans using the Marketing Requirements Document, Product Requirements Document, and Product Specifications. Created Test Cases for each product to ensure that the product was tested completely.

➢ Responsible for creating bugs in the bug tracking system and keeping watch over those bugs until closed. Logged 354 bugs). Responsible for reproducing and closing bugs.

➢ Responsible for weekly reports of activities to my manager as well as to the Project Manager for each product. Responsible for attending product meetings and department meetings to give status and information on the testing of each product.

➢ Attended a three (3) day seminar for leadership training. I then facilitated a group of 10 people to find a project that would help Conversay grow. We decided on a project, did all the research, and presented the results to the Executive Board of the company. I created the presentation packet that was given to each board member. I took minutes and keep track of all documentation. I kept the team on a time schedule and made sure that all duties were performed and reported back to the team.

➢ General application testing on the company’s Business-to-Business web site. Testing consisted of creating multiple users, businesses, products, and other aspects of an Internet commerce company.

➢ Worked on the Windows 98, Millennium, NT4, and Windows 2000 operating system platforms testing print drivers.

➢ Completed the ship cycle for Windows 2000.

➢ Wrote the operating procedures used by my team for Millennium testing.

➢ Ran approximately 8 test machines simultaneously.

➢ Wiped test machines, loaded Windows 98 and approximately 40 applications, then upgraded to Windows 2000 or Millennium. Testing was performed using automated scripts. Output was generated and proofed. Any bugs were reported on the RAID database.

➢ Performed administrative duties for my team including ordering supplies and output/input peripherals. Created forms as needed. Kept files of out put to be used to verify further testing.

➢ Created testing matrix for testing statistics and gave out assignments to the team as to what needed to be tested.

➢ Created statistical reports for the team lead, who took them to managerial meetings.

➢ Responsible for inventory of over 100 printers, which included signing them out on loan and returns.

➢ Drove an Application Bug Bash Weekend. This was done without direct supervision of my lead and included approximately a dozen volunteers. Duties included inventory, proofing output, checking out printers, creating forms and operational procedures, and compiling results for a report to my lead.

➢ Responsible for running regression testing for Windows 95 and 98. Each week, the test machines were wiped, set up with Windows 95, 40 applications were installed, and upgraded to the latest build of Windows 98. Testing was performed using automated scripts.

➢ Proofed generated output and filed bugs in the RAID database.

➢ Regression testing consisted of 25 to 40 printers. All output was proofed and bugs were written into the RAID database.
