Reminders:
FAFSA Phone-In is another free service provided by CFNC to help students.
Financial aid specialists will be available at the CFNC Call Center, 866-866-CFNC (2362) from 5-8 pm each Tuesday in February (Feb. 5, 12, 19 and 26) to answer questions students or their families may have about the FAFSA. While FAFSA Day is designed to help participants complete the entire form, the FAFSA Phone-In service is offered to help individuals who are completing the FAFSA on their own and are seeking answers to a few of the questions asked on the FAFSA.
General Senior Class Information
Please remember to check the senior class page on the Reagan Web Site for all important info related to Class Day, graduation, fees, etc… Go to the Reagan home page and click on “Senior Page – Class of 2013.”
College Applications continued ….
As second semester approaches, please note that your mid-term grades are NOT automatically sent off to colleges, as most colleges do not need/want them. If you have reason to want us to send your first semester grades to a college, you will need to make that request to your counselor. If your college has a mid-year report form that needs to be completed, you will need to provide that form for your counselor.
Note that if you are put on a waiting list or are deferred for admission, it can be helpful for you to write a letter to the admissions office emphasizing your interest in attending and sharing some more information about your personal goals/accomplishments/interests that might help them learn more about you in making a final decision (do not repeat anything from your original admissions application).
If/when you receive Scholarship Awards:
Please make copies of any/all scholarship award letters or e-mails you receive throughout the year, and bring them to Ms. Norris in Student Services. Regardless of whether or not you will attend the college from which you received a scholarship, we want to recognize you at the end of the year for any awards you are offered. Traditionally, scholarship awards have been announced at Class Day and posted in the graduation program.
