The Eco or Economy hunt program is designed to make hunting affordable again. The cost of the 2 day hunt is only directed to cover the price of the hunt on private land and access. This hunt is limited to 10 doe deer and 10 doe antelope in Wyoming on a 6000 acre private ranch. Then in Utah there are 10 doe deer and 10 doe antelope also on a 16,000 acre ranch. The does are a DIY (Do It Yourself) Hunt.

The way to obtain a license and the season date are also different for each state. During the hunt in either state there will be no driving off of 2 track or better roads. There will be no ATV's of any type. If need be animals must be packed out to a road. Since this is ranch land the road mapping covers most of the ranch.

All hunters must check in with the rancher upon arrival and check out with the rancher upon leaving the property. The rancher will have maps of the areas and the fence lines. Watch the map closely and be certain to not stray on non-ranch property or you could be ticketed for trespassing and can be ejected from the property. The rancher will stage the hunters to spread them out through the season dates. All of that will be defined after the deposit is paid.

Trespassing and dangerous conduct can get you immediately ejected from the property with no refund and no ability to come back then or in the future.

The local areas contain lodging and camping will only be allowed when the fire conditions allow it. There are also local commercial camp grounds in the area to camp and are better equipped for the fire issues. The rancher also has some cabin lodging for $50 per night per person that you can rent if it is available.

The access fee for Doe deer are $ 695 and doe antelope are $595.

In some case you would be able to have a second doe which is ? price if it is the same species. If legal by the state you are in and you can obtain the adequate licenses one person can shoot 2 doe antelope and two doe deer on this same trip.

Plan to arrive the day before your hunt and check in with the rancher so you can get the 2nd half of the payment done, a liability release, a permission slip to be on this property and a Utah voucher if you are hunting the Utah side of the ranch.

To turn any of these hunts into a guided hunt is just $500. Extra DIY hunt days are $150 after the first 2 days. There is a youth discount for the hunt and the license. It is $ 100 for each of the 1st doe hunts. The licenses are discounted by the states for the specific ages from 13-17?

Wyoming All Wyoming "Land Owner Coupons" that come with your license must also go to the rancher. If yours is not turned in you will not be able to hunt the ranch again.

Season Dates on the Wyoming ANTELOPE hunts are September 10-31 in unit 95. The licenses are Type 1 for bucks and Type 7 for does, with both seasons running from September 10 to September 31st. Youth Licenses are $ 10 for a doe, resident, and for non-resident $ 33 no matter if it is antelope or deer.

The application deadline date is March 15th 2013. You must make your reservation and deposit for your hunt prior to putting in for the drawing.

Season Dates on the Wyoming DEER hunts are October 10-12 in unit 132, Region K. The licenses are Type 7 for does. There is also a special Wyoming Youth license available for this unit. Youth Licenses are $ 10 for a doe, resident, and for non-resident $ 33 no matter if it is antelope or deer. The season runs from October 10 to September 31st. Bucks have a 3 point or better on one side restriction. ( Is this for Youths also?)

The licenses in Utah for doe deer or for doe antelope are by Landowner Vouchers provided by the rancher. The voucher is $50. With that you can purchase a Utah doe deer or doe antelope in town over the counter. Utah Division of Wildlife Resources

You will be semi-guided 1 on 4 or less to DIY Cow elk hunt on private land. Hunters will provide their own in town lodging (phone number and addresses are available) (In some cases the outfitter may have some room to provide lodging and possibly meals for about the same price as you would pay in town.) This hunt is designed for the experienced hunter more than the novice with the gutting and skinning issue detail and priced. If you can and want to gut and skin your elk you are more than welcome to do so.

The hunts are for 2 days, with extra days $ 150 each. Additional services are available upon request.

Gutting is $ 50, skinning is $ 75 and if you have to "extract" an elk with additional equipment to be fair the outfitter charges to match the task. Otherwise hunters are responsible for packing out their elk if it is so required.

The bulk of the hunting will be on mountain ranch property with easy access.
