Third Party Administrator AmeriBen works with your plan to administer and process your health insurance claims. After you have received services from your participating network provider and they have pre-certified any necessary services, the claim is sent by the provider to our office for processing and payment. Anthem

Preferred Network Your benefit plan has entered into an agreement with Anthem as the preferred provider network. Anthem is a member of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association and contracts with physicians & hospitals, so Newell Brands benefit plan participants receive discounted rates in order to help reduce the effect of rising healthcare costs.

AmeriBen Medical Management

Utilization Management Certain health services may require pre-certification prior to services being rendered (refer to your Plan Document for a detailed list of services requiring pre-certification). Utilization Management helps to determine if the requested services are appropriate for reimbursement. Utilization Management does not guarantee benefits nor does it validate eligibility.

Optum

Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) At times you may need to take a medication prescribed by your physician. Your plan has an agreement with OptumRx who contracts with pharmacies to provide reduced fees for covered medications. Contact information for your PBM can be found on your OptumRx identification card.
