Project name: - Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota

September 13th, 2018

Dear Care Coordination Partners,

As previously communicated Blue Plus has entered into an agreement with Amerigroup, an affiliate of Anthem, which is part of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association. Amerigroup will be supporting the management of our Medicaid business. One of the functions transitioning to Amerigroup is our medical transportation benefit, BlueRide. BlueRide (customer service, scheduling, and claims) will be managed by Amerigroup, administered through LogistiCare. LogistiCare will have some enhanced capabilities.

There will be no changes to the member process for requesting medical transportation. BlueRide’s name, network and phone number to contact customer service/scheduling will be the same: 651-662-8648 or

1-866-340-8648. However, members will experience an overall improvement in their customer service experience, including shorter telephone wait times.

The process for Care Coordinators contacting BlueRide to schedule medical transportation will change. LogistiCare will have a dedicated phone number for Care Coordinators to call effective 10/1/18.

The new number is (855) 933-6991.

Effective 10/1/18, the current BlueRide web portal will no longer be active. The new web portal called TripCare is an improved secure website that Care Coordinators and other designated staff can use to assist Blue Plus members with scheduling medical rides online. To access TripCare, each agency manager must complete the attached Admin User Access form and designate an “Administrator User”. Once the Admin User security is complete, the administrator can set up security for each person designated as a “Ride Scheduler” at your agency. We recommend selecting at least two Administrator Users at each agency.

Anticipated timeline of events:

|June |Communication to Blue Ride Transportation Providers |

| |Transportation Provider Training begins (webinars 2x/week) |

|July |Communication to current ride schedulers using Blue Ride Portal |

|October 1st |Current BlueRide portal will not allow any medical rides scheduled beyond 10/1/18 |

| |Current BlueRide web portal closed |

| |New LogistiCare portal open to schedule rides online |

| |LogistiCare customer service/scheduling begins (LogistiCare representatives identify themselves as |

| |BlueRide representatives) |

Care Coordination Delegate next steps:

1. Agency must identify and designate an Administrator User(s) for your agency.

2. If your agency would like to use the new TripCare web portal for scheduling medical transportation for members online, your agency should complete the attached LogistiCare EDI Administrator User Form and return it via fax to LogistiCare: 1-866-269-8875.

3. The Administrator will give security to each individual identified as a Ride Scheduler

4. Authorized Ride Scheduler(s) attend one of the webinar training sessions. The webinars will be recorded and can be made available for staff to view if they are unable to attend either of the WebEx trainings below.

Care Coordinator Webinar Training:

• There is a training webex posted to the Care Coordination portal under the Training link.
