McNair Scholars Program

Scholarship program is designed to prepare students for careers as graduate students, professors or professional researchers. Must be full time student, with 42 hours or more completed, 3.0 GPA & first generation college student or student from an underrepresented ethnic group.

OCCC ACT NOW Scholarship

Deadline: Various

The ACT NOW scholarship is offered as an automatic merit-based tuition waiver program for the 2016 graduating class of high school students. The waiver amounts are based on the student's composite score on the national ACT. Students who score a 21 are eligible for a 3 hour credit tuition waiver. Scores of 22 - 23 receive a 6 hour credit tuition waiver, scores of 24-26 will receive a 9 hour credit tuition waiver, and scores of 27-30 will receive a 12 hour credit tuition waiver. Students with exceptional scores a 31 or higher will receive a 15 hour credit tuition waiver. All waivers are per semester; freshman year only.

Oklahoma City Community Foundation

The Molly Brotman Future Leaders through Education Scholarship

Brotman Law is a firm believer in the value of education as a platform to achieving personal, professional, and financial goals. We believe that education is the foundation that leads to people realizing their full potential and making a difference in the world. Varsity Tutors Scholarship

Varsity Tutors holds a monthly $1,000 college scholarship contest where students must write an essay in response to a monthly prompt. Visitors to the Varsity Tutors scholarship webpage are able to vote via social media for submitted entries. The top five entries with the most votes are reviewed by Varsity Tutors at the end of the month and one winner is subsequently chosen to receive the $1,000 college scholarship.

Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and Strategic Systems Program Scholarship

AISES has partnered with the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) to manage, develop, and further new and existing educational partnerships between the Department of Defense and other organizations in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Open to high school seniors. Consists of two parts, a one-time $10,000 scholarship awarded freshman year; and an opportunity to apply for summer employment, which provides technical work experience and continued tuition assistance.

Ron Brown Scholar Program

The Ron Brown Scholarship honors the legacy of Ronald H. Brown through a selective scholarship program that advances higher education for community-minded and intellectually gifted African Americans. RBSP competitively awards Ron Brown Scholars four-year $40,000 scholarships ($10,000 each year) to the most talented and economically-challenged high school seniors who demonstrate a keen interest in public service, community engagement, business entrepreneurship and global citizenship - the four pillars of the late Ronald H. APIASF Scholarship Program

Scholarship awards range from one-time $2,500 awards to multi-year $20,000 awards. NatureWorks - Sutton Award for Student Conservation Art

We are pleased to announce the thirteenth annual Sutton Award Scholarship Program. This is a great opportunity for Oklahoma high school students, grades 10th-12th, to receive significant funding for their continuing education or for other aspects of their future! Mensa Education & Research Foundation Scholarship

Mensa Foundation scholarships are awarded on the basis of an essay that describes the applicant's career, vocational, and/or academic goals along with information that shows how the applicant intends to achieve the stated goal. The general scholarships are unrestricted as to age, race, gender, level of education, grade point average, or financial need. An applicant does not need to be a member of Mensa, but must be a U.S. citizen or a legal resident. Some scholarships may have specific restrictions, e.g., major or area of study.

Ronald McDonald House U.S. Scholarship

Most local Chapters award a minimum of $1,000. Students across the country work hard to earn top marks, dreaming of the college they'll attend and the education they'll receive. Unfortunately, many of these students won't be able to afford it. We want these students to reach their full potential. United States JCI Senate Foundation Scholarship

Each year (April) $1,000 grants will be awarded to graduating high school seniors in the United States, who plan to continue their education at accredited post-secondary colleges, universities or vocational schools. The number of grants awarded annually will be at the discretion of the United States JCI Senate Foundation. They must be used for educational expenses in the first year of the full-time study. Checks awarded will be made out in the name of the recipient and the educational institution of their choice.

ARRL Foundation

Buenas Opiniones Scholarship

This scholarship is for graduating Latino high school seniors or currently enrolled college undergraduate or graduate students. The award is $2,500 per year for up to four years. Buenas Opiniones will support its scholars in a variety of ways including but not limited to personal, leadership and professional development opportunities, networking and mentorships opportunities, as well as financial and academic support to prepare its scholars to be the next leaders in their professions and communities. More than 50 million people in the United States identify as Hispanic, making the growing Latino population by far the largest minority group in the country. High School Student Essay Contest

Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps Scholarship

Deadline: January 31, 2017

The purpose of the NROTC Program is to educate and train qualified young men and women for service as commissioned officers in the Navy's unrestricted line, the Navy Nurse Corps and the Marine Corps. As the largest single source of Navy and Marine Corps officers, the NROTC Scholarship Program plays an important role in preparing mature young men and women for leadership and management positions in an increasingly technical Navy and Marine Corps. Selected applicants for the NROTC Scholarship Program are awarded scholarships through a highly competitive national selection process, and receive full tuition, books stipend, educational fees and other financial benefits at many of the country's leading colleges and universities. Upon graduation, midshipmen are commissioned as officers in the unrestricted line Naval Reserve or Marine Corps Reserve. The NROTC Scholarship Program is available to qualified students who graduate from high school before August 1 of the year they intend to start college. Students selected for the NROTC Scholarship Program make their own arrangements for college enrollment and room and board, and take the normal course load required by the college or university for degree completion. Additionally, scholarship midshipmen are required to follow specific academic guidelines. Full information concerning the NROTC Scholarship Program is available from any of the colleges and universities with NROTC units or from Navy and Marine Corps recruiters. The Hammock Expert Scholarship

At The Hammock Expert we recognize that the investment in knowledge pays the best interest for the future. That is why we are excited to announce the creation of an annual college / technical school scholarship for high school, undergraduate and graduate students. National FFA Scholarship Program

Students may receive one scholarship as a high school senior and one while in college for a maximum of two scholarships during their academic career. Students who have already received two scholarships through this program are not eligible to apply.

OMRF: Fleming Scholar Program

Deadline: February 1, 2017

To be eligible for the Fleming Scholar Program, applicants must be: An Oklahoma resident at the time of high school graduation. At least 16 years of age. Classified as a high school senior or college freshman, sophomore or junior at the time of application submission. A United States citizen or permanent resident or have unrestricted employment authorization in accordance with applicable Immigration and Naturalization Service regulations (example: J-2 - with Employment Authorization Document). Applicants with an H-4 visa are not eligible. Willing and able to commit to the program's entire eight-week time frame, which begins the first Monday following Memorial Day. Scholars are selected based on aptitude and interest in science and math, academic standing, essays and recommendation letters written as part of the application process.

Daughters of the American Revolution

All applicants must be citizens of the United States and must attend or plan to attend an accredited college or university in the United States.  DAR chapter sponsorship is not required; however, a chapter or state chairman may work with the applicant to put the information together to send to the DAR Scholarship Committee.

AFA Teens for Alzheimer's Awareness College Scholarship

AFA is pleased to offer the AFA Teens for Alzheimer's Awareness College Scholarship. Scholarship awards to deserving college-bound students will be a $5,000 scholarship to the winner; and $2,500 and $1,000 scholarships to the first and second runners-up, respectively. Vegetarian Resource Group College Scholarships

Due to the generosity of an anonymous donor, The Vegetarian Resource Group each year will award $20,000 in college scholarship money to graduating U.S. high school students who have promoted vegetarianism in their schools and/or communities. Vegetarians do not eat meat, fish, or fowl. Vegans are vegetarians who do not use other animal products such as dairy or eggs. One award of $10,000 and two awards of $5,000 will be given. Entries may only be sent by students graduating from high school in SPRING 2017.

BSO Ivy Foundation Scholarship

The BSO Ivy Foundation Fund was established in 2004 to support the Beta Sigma Omega Chapter charitable scholarships and gifts. This is an endowed scholarship fund of the Oklahoma City Community Foundation administered in conjunction with the BSO Ivy Foundation. Funds may be used for educational-related expenses such as tuition, fees and books at any academically accredited two-year, four-year or vocational technical nonprofit institution in the United States. OK-AHEAD Scholarship

Deadline: March 1, 2017

OK-AHEAD offers scholarship money to Oklahoma students with disabilities in post-secondary education. Applications must be postmarked on or before March 1 of the award year. Scholarships can be applied at any Oklahoma technology center, or any two-year or four-year college or university. Up to three scholarships will be awarded: one to a student who will or is currently attending an Oklahoma two-year institution, another scholarship award for a student who will or is attending a four-year institution, and a third scholarship awarded to a student who attends or will attend a CareerTech. If there are no applicants from one of these institutions, the award will not be disbursed. The award amount will be up to $500 based on available OK-AHEAD funds.

Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation Scholarships

"Your Future is out there, create it". Scholarship awards vary in amount from $1,000 to $5,000 per academic year, in most cases, for up to four years. To be eligible to compete for one of our scholarship awards, you must have the following: Applicants must be pursuing a career in printing technology, printing management, publishing or graphic communications. A student who is enrolled in a printing or graphics program at a technical school, college, or university within the United States. Applicant must be a full-time student. A high school senior or high school graduate. Be able to maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Kohl's Cares' Scholarship Program

Deadline: March 13, 2017

Applicants must be nominated by parents, educators or community members. There are two categories: one for kids ages 6-12 and another for ages 13-18. Nominees must be legal U.S. residents who have not graduated from high school.

BMW/SAE Engineering Scholarship

Deadline: March 15, 2017

This annual scholarship is provided by BMW AG in recognition of its commitment to excellence in engineering. BMW is world famous for designing and building luxury, high-performance passenger cars and motorcycles. The company is also a leader in developing and manufacturing high technology, high performance internal combustion engines. This scholarship is in support of the SAE Foundation to ensure an adequate supply of well-trained engineers for the future. One scholarship will be awarded each year for $1,500 per year. Scholarship may be renewed at $1,500 a year for three additional years (total award $6,000).

Dan and Vicky Hancock Scholarship for Mechanical Engineering Excellence

The Dan and Vicky Hancock Scholarship for Mechanical Engineering Excellence, established by Dan and Vicky Hancock, provides financial support for students pursuing college degrees in the field of mechanical engineering. The Donald and Barbara Mozley Scholarship provides financial support for students pursuing an engineering degree at an ABET-accredited college or university. Edward D. Hendrickson/SAE Engineering Scholarship

This scholarship, established by Hendrickson International, honors the late Edward D. Hendrickson, a pioneer in the commercial vehicle industry. The Young Radiator Company established this scholarship in memory of the company's founder, Fred M. Young, Sr. Mr. Young started the company in 1927 and saw it grow to become a major force in the field of Heat Transfer. SAE Ford Partnership for Advanced Studies Scholarship

Established in 2007, The Ford Partnership for Advanced Studies (Ford PAS) Scholarship was developed by the Ford Motor Company Fund in partnership with Education Development Center Inc. (EDC). It is for high school seniors who are past or present students in a Ford Next Generation Learning Community, and/ or past or present students of a Ford PAS program at their high school or in a Ford PAS afterschool/weekend/summer/college program. Tau Beta Pi / SAE Engineering Scholarship

The purpose of the Tau Beta Pi is to recognize engineering students of superior scholarship and exemplary character and to foster a spirit of liberal culture in engineering colleges. Headquartered in Knoxville, Tennessee, the Association's largest national philanthropy is its fellowship program, which has provided $4,565,000 in advanced-study grants to 870 students, and the scholarship program that has provided $958,000 in awards to 479 engineering seniors. Six scholarships valued at $1,000 each will be awarded for the freshman year only.

Anthem Essay Contest

Deadline: March 29, 2017

Eligibility for Anthem: 8th, 9th and 10th Grade. 1st Place: $2,000. 2nd Place: $500. 3rd Place: $200. Finalists: $50. Semifinalists: $30. Students must choose from one of three topics listed on the website to write an essay. Essays will be judged on whether the student is able to argue for and justify his or her view-not on whether the Institute agrees with the view the student expresses. Judges will look for writing that is clear, articulate and logically organized. Winning essays must demonstrate an outstanding grasp of the philosophic meaning of Anthem.

Internet Marketing Scholarship
