Assemblies are on Friday mornings at 9.00-9.30am for P2-7 and P1 Assemblies are on a Wednesday afternoon from 2.40pm- 3.10pm. The school will come together for whole school Assemblies. There are 6 Religious Observance (RO) Assemblies. Two at Barclay Church for our Harvest and Easter Celebrations, the other 4 are Assemblies in school with Mr Sam Torrens our School Chaplain.We have special Gatherings for Other World religions, Scots Language and Culture Week, World Book Day, Comic Relief, Children in Need and other occasions as they arise on Mondays from 2.55-3.15pm. Achievements in school and outside school are celebrated at weekly assemblies, certificates are awarded for our Bruntsfield ‘Stars of the Week’ and class of the week. Each month our Citizenship Cup is awarded to the House who earns the most munity Teams, with a combination of pupils from P1 to P7 in their school houses, are held once a month from 9.10 -10.10am. On these dates Assemblies will take place after break from 10.50 -11.20am.
