SPRING BREAK ASSIGNMENT –

YOU WILL FIND THIS ON THE WEBSITE. PRINT OUT ALL OF THE PARTS!!!!!

This is a FULL LENGTH practice AP EXAM.

You need to take this in ONE SITTING (3 1/2 hours).

Give yourself a 5 minute break between sections.

I recommend doing this EARLY in the break, so that you can use the rest of the break to go over it, correct it and LEARN from it!!!!!

Do the multiple choice questions directly on the packet. Record your answers on the Grading Sheet. You don't need a Scantron. No Problem should be left blank!!!

Show your work for the free response questions directly on the handouts.

Enter your multiple choice answers on the grading sheet file and then check your answers with the solutions. Score your free response solutions with the College Board's scoring guide in the free response solutions - then enter these 6 scores on the grading sheet. Compute your score (see formula) to get your score out of 108 - we'll talk about what your score means when we get back to school.

Work MUST be shown for all problems.

If you skipped any problems, then you need to go back and do them in ink before you turn it in. That does NOT mean you just copy the answer/solution.

Any problems you miss should be corrected in PEN. You should learn from your mistakes – rework the problems so you will know how to do them when it counts.

Spring Break is an opportunity to raise your AP grade by 1 full point.

Take advantage of it ..... THINK 55555 !!!!!

Use this test to help you study – you NEED to review the types of problems that you miss.

Exam Order:

Multiple Choice Part A (no calculator) -- 60 minutes

Multiple Choice Part B (calculator) -- 45 minutes

Free Response Part A (calculator) -- 30 minutes

Free Response Part B (no calculator) -- 60 minutes

MAKE SURE TO KEEP TRACK OF YOUR TIME !!!!!

This is due April 22nd or it is LATE. It is worth 4 (FOUR) homework assignments (400 points). 50 points will be deducted for every day that it is late! Points will be deducted for not following directions. This assignment will be turned in – it will NOT be recorded on your stamp sheet.

If you will be absent on April 22nd, then you need to have a friend or a parent drop off your packet in my box.

See website for order on stapling the test.

This should be done ahead of time so you can turn in when in class.
