You will log on to and you will explore the interactive media to learn about the development of the human lineage. You will view the documentary Becoming Human in order to better understand human evolution and the peopling of the earth. For the assignment you will give FULL and COMPLETE answers. The assignment must be HAND WRITTEN! Assignment will be counted as a test.

How to Begin

• Log on to where you will find the documentary, sponsored by the Institute of Human Origins.

• When you arrive at the homepage, click on DOCUMENTARY then click on Begin the documentary.

• Click on Begin the Program. If it doesn’t say Begin the Program under the title and beginning information just go to the menu on the left and click on Interactive Documentary and then click Begin the Program. You will then be viewing the Prologue. After you have viewed the Prologue, answer the questions below. Continue on, viewing and answering questions for each of the other sections: Evidence, Anatomy, Lineage, and Culture.

• In some sections you will be required to view “Related Exhibits” in order to complete additional questions. You will find the tab for Related Exhibits below your screen.

• Feel free to wander around the site after you have completed the assignment. It is very interesting and informative.

Prologue
