Score: 2 - Normal skin color and appearance. 1 - Any alteration in skin color: pale, dusky, blotch, jaundiced, etc. 0 - Frank cyanosis. The patient's score is taken at stated intervals, such as every 15 or 30 minutes and totaled on the official score card. Patients with a total score of less than eight (8) must remain in PACU. ................
