APHG Choice ReviewOverview: Below is a list of exam review options. ?Read each option carefully, and then choose credits of options you would like to complete for exam review. Every assignment must be completed correctly, thoroughly, and IN YOUR OWN HANDWRITING.All assignments are due together as a hard-copy portfolio by Wednesday, May 15th. See the rubric below for the grading breakdown- this will be entered as Extra Credit assignment. OPEN TO ALL students registered or not registered for the AP Test. HAVE INTEGRITY!90-100%Completes 10-12 of the credit options provided.70-80%Completes 8-9 of the credit options provided.60-70%Completes 5-7 of the credit options provided.50-60%Completes 0-4 of the credit options provided.Credit OptionsCredit Value Directions for ActivityOption 1: FRQs/FRQ Peer Review**This option will need to be completed with a fellow APHGer**2 credit for 3 FRQs4 credits for 6 FRQsPart 1: Complete three released FRQs (click here), covering three different units. ?Be sure to indicate the year and the question number for each question.Part 2: Exchange the completed FRQs with a classmate and grade each other’s work. ?First, find the scoring guidelines online for each of the questions and the check the answers for correctness. ?Then mark on the FRQs with feedback, including positive comments and constructive criticisms. Highlight and draw a line to where each point is earned. ?Comment on where points are earned and where points are missing. Your comments should help your classmate see the answers that would receive the maximum number of potential points.Option 2: APHG Alphabet Review Book**This option can be completed with a fellow APHGer**3 creditsCreate an APHG Alphabet Review Book. ?Your book should have a title page and then 26 half pages, one for each letter of the alphabet. ?For each half page, choose a topic that begins with that letter (ex. D = Diffusion) and include an explanation of the topic and a photo or illustration. ?All of the pages must be handwritten and in color. Should cover 26 topics, and all of the various units (as defined on the course outline provided).Option 3: Vocabulary Board**This option can be completed with a fellow APHGer**1 credit per completed Vocab BoardChoose one unit of study and complete a Vocabulary Board. ?You may earn two credits by completing two separate units. Your teacher must sign a sheet of paper to earn credit. Option 4: Fill in Review**This option can be completed with a fellow APHGer**2 creditsComplete the Fill-In-Review Packet. ?Answers must be handwritten. Option 5: Practice Test2 creditsComplete a Practice assigned to you by Ms. Delgado. Must be completed afterschool in classroom.Option 7: Current Events1 creditDo some research on what is going on in the world today; pick 1 event and connect it to two APHG units. ?Complete the current event analysis.Option 8: Demographic Transition Model**This option can be completed with a fellow APHGer**1 credit per DTM organizer completedComplete the DTM graphic organizers. Organizer 1, Organizer 2. Option 9: Review Book2 credits (1 unit)4 credits (2 units)Read a review book and HANDWRITE NOTES on the chapter; highlight vocabulary in one color, key ideas in another color. ?Option 10: Regions Review **This option can be completed with a fellow APHGer**2 credits per Region Complete a region review, then check your work. See your teacher for the key. (Latin America & Sub-Saharan Africa count as 1 region for grading purposes) Option 11: Models Review**This option can be completed with a fellow APHGer**1 credit for every 4 models analyzed Hand draw illustrations of 4 of the listed APHG models including a key to explain the parts of each of the models and an explanation of the model itself. Be sure to label the model with the correct number, clearly. ?See here for a list. Option 12: Study Guide **This option can be completed with a fellow APHGer**2 credits (1 unit) 4 credits (2 units) Complete a unit study guide then check your responses. See your teacher for the key. Utilizing a blank world map, label the list of essential APHG countries and regions.
