35th Annual Conference Tuscaloosa, AL 2012

You are cordially invited to attend our 35th annual AAVFD Conference on August 3rd & 4th (Friday and Saturday) at the Alabama Fire College Campus, hosted by AAVFD District Three Association (Fayette, Hale, Greene, Lamar, Pickens, Sumter, and Tuscaloosa Counties).

The vendor area will be at the Fire College. We will publicize among the 1000 plus Volunteer Fire Departments in Alabama those vendors will be available from 12:00 noon to 5:00pm on Friday the 3th and 8:00am to 2:00 pm on Saturday the 4th. The vendor area will be secured during non-use periods to help safeguard your displays; however, responsibility for any items is yours.

Exhibit areas are 10' x 10' with one (1) table at a cost of $100.00 each. We ask that you Conference Register for $25.00 pre-register or $30.00 at the registration table when you arrive, all ages. This cost includes the cookout meal on Friday night and Banquet on Saturday night. Everyone on the competition team has to be registered for the conference. Your motel reservations may be made contacting the Host Motel which is the Ramada Inn ? 631 Skyland Blvd. E. 1-800-272-6232 @ $59.00 a night (Ramada Inn only). The overflow motels will be the Country Inn & Suites ? 4801 McFarland Blvd E. 1-888-201-1746. Nearby Motels are Hilton Garden Inn ? 800 HOLLYWOOD Blvd. (205)-722-0360. A Conference Program will be published and distributed to all attending. We ask you to take an ad therein to help us defray expenses. Ad copy should be in black and white, camera ready, any photos or CD's. Our Ad Company can do design work for your ad and typeset. The costs of the ads are as follows:

In the planning for our annual conference no alcoholic beverages will be permitted in the class or training areas, competition areas, vendor areas, or in any AAVFD meeting (including the business meeting); nor will any "raffle type" option offering an alcoholic beverage as a "prize" be permitted at the conference.

2012 Conference Pre-Registration

The 2012 Annual AAVFD Conference will be hosted by the District Three Association in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on August 3rd & 4th, 2012.

Registration will be $25.00 per person. Please have turned in by July 21, 2012. Registration at the conference will be $30.00.

All activities will be held at the Alabama Fire College, 2501 Phoenix Drive, Tuscaloosa, AL. (Registration, vendor displays, Friday night cook-out and Saturday competition).

Competition events will be announced later!!

The awards banquet will be nearby at the Bobby Miller Activity Center on Saturday night.
