• Approval letter from city or town representative that includes:

• Authorization from the city or town for the permit applicant to apply for an historic district permit; and

• Statement whether the city or town adopted an ordinance that requires written commitments pursuant to IC 7.1-3-19-17.

• Copy of the ordinance creating the historic district

• Copy of the written commitments, if required by the city or town

• Note: These permits cannot be transferred.
