Send us an email when you apply for jobs on the SEEK, CareerOne, JORA, Adzuna or Indeed websites and we'll automatically add them to your job search effort.

Step 1 Apply for a job on SEEK, CareerOne, JORA, Adzuna or Indeed

When you apply for a job on either of these websites, you should receive a confirmation email in your inbox.

Step 2 Forward your job application confirmation

1. When you get your job application confirmation in your email inbox, click forward

2. Send it to JobSearchEffort@.au 3. Make sure you add your Job Seeker ID (JSID) in the subject line and then hit

send

We can't add your application to your job search effort if you don't put your job seeker ID in the subject line.

Step 3 Your job application will be added automatically to your job search effort

Next time you sign in to your dashboard, and application you have forwarded to us will be show in your job search effort list. Remember, you need to send a separate email for each job application.

Don't see your job application in your job search effort?

Here are some reasons your job application might not show in your job search effort. Is it a SEEK, CareerOne, JORA, Adzuna or Indeed job? We currently can only add jobs you applied for on these websites. You have to manually add jobs you applied for in person or on other websites. Did you use the right email address? The email address needs to match the email address and Job Seeker ID (JSID) you used to make your jobactive website account. If you're unsure, sign in and check your details. Did you include your job seeker ID in the subject line? Check these details and try again. Is the job application within your reporting period? If it's outside a reporting period, it may not appear.

Manually add job applications to your job search effort

If you applied for a job in person, by email or through a different website you can manually add it to your job search effort. In the job search effort screen, click add a job and fill in the details.
