guidance

for

veterans

Are you a veteran interested in a

career in the trades?

Apprenticeship programs provide paid, on-the-job training to gain

skills in different trades. You can become a carpenter, electrician,

welder, roofer, or many other trades -- and earn while you learn!

Apprenticeship opportunities

The Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries registers and supports high

paying, structured apprenticeship programs that combine on the job

training and related classroom instruction. These programs are in many

fields, including building and construction, manufacturing, industrial,

health care, and information technology.

We are here for you

Veterans Outreach Coordinator Aaron Unpingco provides career

counseling, technical assistance, representation, and advocacy for all

veterans and members of the Oregon National Guard and Reserve

components of the armed forces seeking to be apprentices in the trades.
