Students are also, required to read 3 or 4-AR books in Reading each grading period. Parents if you would like to pick another book for your child feel free to do so. The AR-book reading level should be on 5th or 6th grade and worth 5 or more AR points. There is a short book summary form for them to fill out and turn in for credit. The book summary and the AR-test will be average as one grade. Students will have weekly tests on the Reading Street story along with worksheets. There will be reading homework on Mondays and Tuesday, and Thursday (if needed).

AMSTI Books may not go home, but Glencoe books and AMSTI notebooks may. If you would like to see what the 6th grade Pollard McCall Wolves are working on in Science fill free to come by during class or after class to see.

AMSTI has furnished the class with all the supplies we will need for Earth and Space.
