How to find AR books in the Public Library
• Go to from home or your public library using your library card.
• Click on Advanced Search.
• Choose the Interest Level (lower grades K-3; middle grades 4-8).
• Below the Interest Level, enter your child’s ATOS level. ATOS levels can be provided by your child’s teacher. For example, if your child is reading purple books at the East campus, those books are an ATOS level of 2.5 through 2.9.
• You may narrow your search by selecting Fiction/Nonfiction books, English and Spanish or English only books and/or by Topic.
• Click on the Go button and you will get thousands of books.
• Once you find certain books your child is interested in reading, you may add them to your AR BookBag.
• To print out all the books that you added to your BookBag, click on the red bookbag on the top left corner of your screen.
• You can take this list with you to the public library to search for your AR books or you can search the public library’s on-line catalog at .
• Individual books may also be searched at by titles or by its author.
