Cathedral Project Rubric - WELCOME TO GB RESOURCES!

Cathedral Project Rubric

Objective: You will analyze and discover the reasons for the architecture of a Catholic cathedral using the theology of the Mass learned in class.

Procedure: You and a partner will apply what we learned about the Mass to research the architecture of a cathedral anywhere in the world. You will be connecting the theology of the Mass to the structure of a grand Cathedral.

You will be asking the following questions:

What inspires the structure of this church?

What theological truths are hidden within the architecture of the Church?

How is our understanding of the Mass reflected in architecture?

Your findings will appear on your own page on our class website. Ms. DeMeuse will be helping with the initial set up of your website page. ONE person from your group will need a Google account.
