(Source 4, Animal Research and Testing)00Using animals in experiments is cruel and causes animals unnecessary suffering. (Source 4, Animal Research and Testing)Conclusion:After looking at the key points for animal testing and agents it has help me make my own decision on which one is the stronger argument. Thought process: For the information I have found out I know understand that yes animals are hurt during experiments and that some of the things that are done are unethical. For example, researches injure the animal on purpose to see what effects it will have on the animal. Also, in the past animals where extremely miss treat, millions of animals where dying due to experiments. But there were no rules and no consequences to control how testing happened. Now there are stick rules that must be follow and before any experiment with animals starts it must be approved. Animals are also cared for in the labs because if you have an animal that is stressed sick over weight underweight or just not healthy it could impact the test and the results. After looking at all the treatments vaccines and medical advances that would not have been made without animals I can see how important animals are to saving lives. Many diseases that use to kill millions of people that now thanks to testing done on animals no one suffer from those diseases. Cancer is a big thing that animal testing has helped fined a treatment for and has saved so many lives. Another really important point I found is that animal research befits animals too. This is so because many sicknesses that humans get animals get as well and because of the research that has been done animals can also be treated. An example of this is a vaccine that was developed using experiments on 450 calves to treat the disease pasteurellosis, this vaccine now stops the deadly disease that use to affect 1 in 5 cattle and has now protected over 100 million of them. Also, animal testing has given us all the information that vets use today to save many different species of animals. After finding out all of this I then thought to my self that if we did not use animals in medical research there would be a lot of things that we could have the power to cure but we would not know how to. I defiantly enallage that it does hurt some animals, but the results are just so important to saving lives. And finding out that it benefits humans as well as animals all help me decided that the argument for animal testing is stronger. I also think that the people that want to get ride of animal testing complete do not realise the impact that would have on people and animals. ................
