Smith University.Structures: There are multiple multi-story structures located on the campuses. These facilities will not be utilized unless otherwise instructed by Cadre or Battalion Staff. Carolinas medical center (CMC) is located along the western edge of the UNCC Campus.Capabilities: Most structures on campus have restrooms. CMC is a fully equipped hospital with 24hr ER service. In case of inclement weather, MS1/2s will move to designated classrooms or Student Union. MS3s will move to the nearest Parking deck or if possible to Memorial Hall (Cadets will take direction from Cadre and BN staff)Attachments/DetachmentsAttachments: No ChangeDetachments: None2. Mission: No Change3. Execution: Commanders Intent: To safely and successfully conduct training that is conducive to better preparing cadets for LDAC and as leaders. Key Tasks:Advanced course will implement the skills they have learned in leadership and in conducting STX lanes to become more proficient at tactical and troop leading skills. Basic course will conduct classes in order to practice and become proficient in this basic soldiering skill. End State: The MS3Cadets are better prepared for the Leadership Development and Assessment Course (LDAC). The MS1/2 Cadets began to gain confidence along basic soldering skills that prepare and develop them as leaders.Concept of Operations:(see Annex B for Training Area Maps, Annex C for Direction to JCSU) All UNCC MS3/LDAC bound MS4s will arrive at Squires NLT 0630 to download STX Equipment. MS1/2 Cadets will be instructed to arrive at staging area GOLD NLT 0645. First formation will be healed at 0700 at Staging area GOLD, Memorial Hall. JCSU cadets will remain at their respective campus to receive and direct the Battalion as it moves on the JCSU Campus. Davison and Gardner-Webb will move directly to JCSU and should arrive NLT 0730.Basic Course MS1/2: All basic course cadets will conduct lab at Johnson C. Smith University on 21 Jan 2012. At 0700 first formation will be held, accountability will be established, and one MRE will be issued. We will then load up on GSA transportation and depart to JCSU campus by approximately 0715; cadets will be authorized to POV to JCSU. Movement to JCSU will occur from 0715-0800. Upon arrival the cadets hold an accountability formation and march to the site of the JCSU opening ceremony. The ceremony will take place at 0800 and end at 0830. After the ceremony, basic course cadets will break down into 3 groups and conduct classes from 0830 until 1200. Classes will consist of Land Navigation, First Aid, and Drill and Ceremony. There will be 3 rotations, and each rotation will last 60 minutes. Classes will conclude at approximately 1200 and lunch will follow immediately until 1230. After lunch, all cadets will be broken down into 2 groups to conduct IMT training and completion of Grenade Assault course, each rotation will last 65 minutes. Upon completion of training, cadets will reconsolidate and conduct an AAR. After AAR, a final formation will be conducted to obtain accountability. At approximately 1530, cadets will be released. Advance Course MS3: All UNCC Advanced Course cadets will download equipment at Squires, lot 25 NLT 0630. Once equipment has been downloaded they will move directly to Staging area Gold, in front of Memorial Hall. At approximately 0700, first accountability will be taken and an introduction to the semester will be given to the entire Battalion. At the completion of first formation Advanced Course cadets will then load up on transportation and depart to JCSU campus by approximately 0715, cadets will be authorized to POV to JCSU. Upon arrival the cadets hold an accountability formation and march to the site of the JCSU opening ceremony. The ceremony will take place at 0800 and end at 0830, upon which time the cadets will be loaded up and transported or POV back to UNCC campus. The Advance Course cadets will be dropped off at Squires parking Lot 25/ Training area ORANGE and be issued 1 MRE, 1 Dummy M-16 rifle per cadet. Once all Advanced Course cadets are accounted for and issued the equipment they will be escorted by their respective STOs to the start of their first STX lane. The first STX lane mission will begin at 0930 and go for 2 hours until 1130. Upon completion of the first STX lane mission the squads will rotate to the start point of the next mission and begin another 2 hour mission. The squads will rotate for a 3rd STX lane mission and be complete at approximately 1530. After the completion of the last STX lane mission, the squads, lead by their respective STOs will move independently to Squires parking lot, lot 25. Once at Squires the Advanced Course cadets will turn in their issued dummy M-16 rifle and begin forming up to conduct and AAR. A constructive AAR will be conducted and upon completion the Advanced Course cadets will form up for their final accountability formation. Once final accountability has been taken and any additional Battalion orders are given the cadets will be released.
