IN THIS ISSUE...Bring some warmth this seasonReflections finalistsOrchestra newsSpreading good cheer with songBand concertWord Wizards for 6th gradersHough career day - can you help?Bronco Calendarleft000Chad O. Thomas PrincipalCreate a great day!left000Greetings,??I would like to begin by expressing my sincere apology to John Linerode, Dylan Strother, and Jackie Jacobson for inadvertently leaving them off my recognition list of Campus Beautification Day helpers, which was in the last edition of the Bronco Times.?? All three contributed greatly with all of the cutting, trimming, and hauling that was accomplished that morning.? Thanks again to all who came out to help!?Power School continues to have intermittent service, which relates to issues at the state level.? Therefore, some teachers have been able to update grades in Parent Portal, yet others have not.? We are just as frustrated as parents regarding the lack of consistent access to Power School and our online gradebooks, yet we patiently hope that the state will find a resolution soon.? Our plan is to still have grades up-to-date by today so parents have a good look at their student's progress in second quarter.?Lastly, I want to briefly remind all of our families of a few guidelines for the morning and afternoon car rider line to not only keep our kids safe, but to also model respectful actions to other parents as you wait to pick up your Bronco. Please do not enter through the entrance towards Hough as it's exit only.? Please do not jump line or cut-off other drivers as cars merge from both directions into our parking lot. Please pull in a parking spot if you plan to keep your student in the car until 8:45 am so you are not blocking the line for parents who drop off before 8:45 am.? You should then merge back into the car rider line to drop your student off in front of the building since students are not permitted to walk through the parking lot.?? Please note that we do not have supervision outside until 8:45 am so dropping before 8:45 am is discouraged.Do not drop students anywhere except the designated drop-off zone in front of the main entrance.Students are only permitted to walk to or from school if they reside in our walk zone or have permission through Mr. Thomas due to a special circumstance. Our car rider line in the morning and afternoon merges to two lanes as you make the turn in front of the gym.? Please utilize both lanes equally to help improve the flow of traffic (even on rainy mornings).Thank you to all of our families who consistently help keep our kids safe by following our car rider guidelines, as well as, showing patience and courteous behavior to other parents.Broncos need your gently used coats, jackets and moreBailey?Gives Back Club?will be sponsoring the?Winter Warmth Drive and Ada Jenkins Canned Food Collection, going on now through December 27.Gently used winter jackets and scarves (children and male adults), new?hats, gloves, and socks (for children and male adults) may be dropped off at the entrance to the media center starting November 23.
